  | Driving from Savannah Georgia to Moorehead City North Carolina, Katie and I spotted what appeared to be an abandoned drive-in on Hwy 21 North in Beaufort South Carolina. It ends up that the theater was still operational and the family who ran it was incredibly kind. Not only do they show double features every night, they also host a flea market every Sunday. Dan, the man in two of the pictures, showed us the projector room and told stories about the history of the drive-in. His brother purchased it a year and a half ago. The two have been running it since. |
